Bloomberg Electronic Trading Systems (ETS) offers premier multi-asset trading venues and services, including workflows for Australia Market participants trading Fixed Income instruments. As the Australia Rates E-Trading Product Manager, you will help drive the overall strategy and growth of the Australia Fixed Income trading business. You will develop solutions for the local market and the global investor community by collaborating with key external market participants - including buyside institutions, liquidity providers and regulatory bodies - and managing internal stakeholders to deliver market leading trading solutions.

What is the role?

The Australia Rates E-Trading Product Manager will be responsible for increasing our footprint in the Australia Rates E-Trading market. In doing so they will increase E-Trading D2C market share in Government Bond and Interest Rate Swap markets. Working together with Bloomberg Engineers they will deliver market leading workflows and execution tools. Working with regional sales teams they will build liquidity for the E-Trading offering and encourage buyside usage.

We will trust you to:

Client-Centric Solution Design: Utilize your deep knowledge of Government Bonds / Interest Rate Swaps to identify client needs and build solutions that provide a competitive edge. Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and collaborate on developing scalable solutions.

Product Management: Ensure we have incremental deliveries and a phased product roadmap with clearly outlined business outcomes. Your leadership in product strategy, combined with your experience in large-scale project management will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Senior Level Engagement: Use your network to develop strong senior level relationships across the industry at leading buyside and sell side firms.

Self-start: Set the direction for your business and own the outcomes with limited oversight.

You will need to have:

  • 10+ years proven experience in rates markets*

  • Strong technical understanding of Government Bonds and Interest Rate Swaps trading

  • In-depth knowledge of the Australia EFP market

  • Proven record of self-starting and delivery under limited supervision

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

We'd love to see:

  • Experience in trading Government Bonds and Interest Rate Swap instruments in the Australia market

  • Product Management experience in a D2C E-Trading business based in Australia

  • Strong understanding of technology architecture
