What’s the role?

At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing extraordinary support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight, and thought leadership.

The Media Sales Operations Project Manager is responsible for overseeing system and operational projects that benefit the Bloomberg Media Commercial Organization. They will identify project objectives in alignment with business goals, complete projects on time and within budget provided, and meet Bloomberg Media Commercial Organization standards and requirements.

This individual should have proficient time management and communication skills. They are experienced in tracking the scope of a project and managing timelines, deliverables, and tracking resources on a day-to-day basis. They have the ability to communicate changes, risks and mitigations to the appropriate stakeholders across the business organization.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Accurately track project timelines and prioritize projects based on Business Priorities & the Media Sales Operations Roadmap

  • Develop project plans, track resources, manage stakeholders, mitigate risks, and communicate regular progress updates to Management

  • Facilitate communication between project teams within Media Sales Operations to foster collaboration and drive successful project outcomes

  • Understand dependencies between projects, deliverables and tasks and how to prioritize appropriately

  • Collect, organize and distribute project documents

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Collaborate with Change Practitioner to incorporate and meet change management goals within each project plan

  • Identify and appropriately escalate project risks with urgency to leadership with suggested resolutions

  • Coordinate with third-party vendor team members

You'll need to have:

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience, demonstrating successful leadership in the implementation of Media publishing projects ranging from small scale implementation to full system transformations

  • Experience with project scheduling software

  • Demonstrable ability to translate technical subject matter into relatable business terminology

  • Proficiency in managing various phases of project management including; requirements gathering, business analysis, documentation, QA testing, training, functional and technical design concepts

  • Experience with various software development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Feature Driven, etc.)

  • Successful track record of meeting deadlines within the project lifecycle and collaborating with various levels of management to complete a task

  • Excellent organizational skills, process-oriented thinking, attention to detail, and an understanding of business concepts

  • Strong communication skills, articulate and comfortable speaking with diverse audiences, including sales and clients

We’d love to see:

  • PMP Certification

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment

  • The ability to effectively time manage and problem solve

Salary Range: 110,000 - 140,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
