The Bloomberg CTO Office is the future-looking technical arm of Bloomberg L.P. We envision, design and prototype the next generation infrastructure, hardware and applications that interface in all aspects of the company including financial products, broadcast and media, data centers, internal IT and our global network. Your role:

We are looking for a Product Coach to join our team. You will work across the CTO Office to help technical product managers, business managers and team members become better product thinkers and leaders through execution, coaching and guidance. You will use a research and impact-driven mindset to establish best practices for both individuals and teams. As part of a new coaching group, you will also be critical in developing growth strategy and insights with other coaches.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Coach individuals and teams, focusing on areas such as roadmaps, decision-making strategies, product experimentation, feedback loops, and efficient communication to deliver value-based products

  • Resolve micro and macro product issues with a strategic, empathetic, and research-driven mindset

  • Implement frameworks for efficiency and collaboration with an iterative approach

  • Assess product delivery maturity in place at all levels of leadership, educating and mentoring to identify trends and opportunities for strategic improvement

  • Collaborate with other coaches to develop insights and strategies to develop trust, confidence, partnership and impact with our counterparts

  • Enhance teams’ ability to develop and support products that drive the mission and vision of CTO, and Bloomberg at large

  • Run workshops and training on product development topics, leveraging tool kits and best practices

  • Develop insights, internal tools, and processes that facilitate scaling for our portfolio of products

  • Practice a balanced strategy for ambitious change and incremental, systemic improvements

  • Contribute to the overall CTO strategy and organizational vision

  • At times, may contribute as player-coach for cross-functional product initiatives

You’ll need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience as product manager or senior product leader

  • 3+ years of experience in product strategy and delivery, coaching, and people development skills

  • Empathy and the ability to build trust with teams and other stakeholders through an open feedback culture

  • Demonstrated ability to developing solid product strategies and executing them for target customers using a systematic framework while navigating change

  • Prioritization of momentum over perfection, with a deep understanding of effective processes and the ability to apply frameworks and methodologies to address specific problems (OKRs, Journey Mapping, etc.)

  • Ability to listen deeply to individual needs and develop customized solutions

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, data, sales, and design

  • Experience aligning team goals with organizational goals

  • Ability to focus, and drive productivity for, stakeholders across teams with differing and overlapping priorities

Salary Range: 145,000 - 210,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
