Bloomberg Intelligence Europe Structured Product Research Strategist

Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") is looking for a structured product strategist to cover the global Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) market and European ABS as a complement to its corporate credit strategy offering within the growing fixed income, currency & commodity research business.

The strategist will work closely with the European and U.S. corporate credit strategy steams, as well as partners within the Bloomberg ecosystem, and generate qualitative and quantitative insights on the asset classes for Bloomberg’s global user base. Candidates must be strong communicators, adept at data management, curation and derivation, and have a firm understanding of structured product and the Bloomberg terminal.

Requisite experience and skills:

  • A minimum of 7 years professional experience analyzing and / or trading the asset class

  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

  • Independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Ability to develop professional and collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues

  • Familiarity with Bloomberg data and the Bloomberg family of indices

  • Bachelor's Degree, with CFA designation or MBA preferred

  • Strong knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal

  • Strong Excel and / or python programming skills
